Tottenham Hotspur are back in action tonight as they host LASK in their first Europa League group stage game of the season.

Spurs suffered disappointment with a 3-3 draw against West Ham United on Sunday, and then have a game against Burnley coming up on Monday night, so Jose Mourinho may look to rotate his side.

Here is our predicted line-up for Tottenham’s game this evening…

Joe Hart was brought in over the summer to be something of a cup goalkeeper, so it would make sense for him to fill in for Hugo Lloris tonight.

Serge Aurier has started the last couple of games at right back, so giving Matt Doherty another chance would make sense, as would bringing Ben Davies back in for Sergio Reguilon on the left.

Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga are both out of action, and with Joe Rodon unavailable, Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld look set to start at centre back with few other options available.

Giovani Lo Celso was spotted in training on Wednesday, so bringing him back into the fold in a central midfield role with Harry Winks would give Spurs added creativity at home.

Gareth Bale will surely make his first start for Spurs since re-signing from Real Madrid, with Dele Alli and Lucas Moura joining him behind debutant Carlos Vinicius.

Vinicius has joined as Harry Kane’s backup, so giving the Benfica loanee a chance tonight makes perfect sense as he looks to get up to speed at Tottenham.

This means that the likes of Kane, Son Heung-min, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele would join Reguilon and Aurier in being rested, but this just sums up the strength of the Spurs squad right now.
