Tottenham Hotspur’s players have been reacting on Twitter after a brilliant win against Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon.

City were previously unbeaten in the Premier League this season, but Spurs played with an exceptional intensity and deserved the win thanks to an own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov and a Dele Alli finish in the first-half.

Spurs were excellent throughout and plenty of the team’s players were clearly very pleased with the result – even those that weren’t playing.

Harry Kane is currently out with an ankle injury and Heung-min Son stepped in for him through the middle.

He was clearly very happy with the performance of his team-mates – although he had to forgive Alli for not celebrating his goal by paying tribute to the England striker as previously promised:

Alli himself was also clearly very pleased with the result:

Plenty of other Tottenham players took to Twitter to celebrate victory.

The likes of Victor Wanyama, Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker all took to Twitter to celebrate the result:

Spurs will no doubt be considering themselves genuine title challengers once again.
