Spurs won 3-1 against West Ham United last night at the London Stadium, despite making multiple changes to their starting line-up.
Heung Min-Son scored twice for Spurs, before Fernando Llorente rounded off the scoring for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
And Tottenham’s players were delighted to have progressed.
Juan Foyth joining in with the celebrations should be particularly noteworthy for Spurs fans, as he was superb last night.
The Argentine centre-back was arguably man of the match, after being drafted into the side by Pochettino.
Foyth is still likely to drop back to the bench at the weekend, when Spurs are in Premier League action again, but he certainly did his first-team chances no harm.
Tottenham have been drawn against Arsenal in the next round of the competition, in what is expected to be a feisty North London derby.
