Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has made his first football-related post on Instagram since Jose Mourinho got sacked.
It is the second post from Alli since Mourinho’s dismissal this week, with the first one being a promotional one regarding Adidas.
The short clip that the Tottenham midfielder has posted about him in the gym, as shown below, shows that he is happy and enjoying himself.
Alli was consistently snubbed by Mourinho when the Portuguese was in charge of the Tottenham first team.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has made two starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League, and made six starts and two substitute appearances in the Europa League for Spurs this season.
Now that Mourinho has been dismissed and Ryan Mason has been put in temporary charge of the first team, Alli could get more chances.
Of course, the end of the season is near, but with a strong pre-season, Alli could re-establish himself as a big player for Spurs in 2021-22 and beyond.
The Englishman is a very talented player who has already shown what he is capable of.
