Tottenham Hotspur-owned Leeds United’s Jack Clarke pleased to make England Under-20 debut

Jack Clarke may be struggling to play regularly for Leeds United at the moment, but the Tottenham Hotspur-owned winger is doing well on the international stage.

The 18-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, made his debut for the England Under-20 side against their Netherlands counterparts at at New Meadow.

The youngster, who signed a permanent contract with Tottenham in the summer transfer window before returning to Leeds on a loan deal, came on as a substitute in the 66th minute.

Clarke has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his debut for the England Under-20 side, and his agent – Leeds legend Ian Harte – has revelled in his success.

Promising talent

Clarke is a very talented and promising young player who can be a star for Tottenham in the coming years.

According to WhoScored, the winger made four starts and 20 substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
