Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus in the summer of 2023, according to CMW.
Tottenham want to sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Tottenham are ‘very interested’ in the former Arsenal star and want to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for next season and beyond.
Juventus are not willing to hand the Poland international goalkeeper a new deal, with Szczesny out of contract at the Italian giants in 2024.
Former Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly identified Guglielmo Vicario as a potential replacement for Szczesny should he leave at the end of the season.
Unlikely to happen
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to complete a deal to sign Wojciech Szczesny, a former Arsenal goalkeeper.

Szczesny is 32 now, and while he is a very good goalkeeper, if Tottenham want to sign a player between the posts, then they are likely to go for someone younger.
After all, Hugo Lloris and Fraser Forster are also in their 30s.
Moreover, Szczesny is a former Arsenal player who left the Gunners for Juventus for £10 million (The Guardian) in the summer of 2017.
The Poland international will surely not want to move to Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham and damage the relationship he has with the Emirates Stadium faithful.
