Exciting Brennan Johnson update for Tottenham Hotspur fans

In our view, that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Nottingham Forest over Brennan Johnson is hugely encouraging and exciting for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful.

It shows that Spurs are really serious about getting a deal done for the 22-year-old this week.

Yes, it is quite late in the summer transfer window, but we all know that deals do take time and are not always done early.

And we know that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does take his time in bringing in players, especially those who cost a lot of money.

According to The Sun, Johnson is rated at £50 million by Forest.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay that kind of money.

It is very likely that Levy will try to negotiate a low price.

Johnson has made 41 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The Wales international forward has scored eight goals and provided three assists in those games.

Johnson is a very good and promising young forward.

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey described his Welsh compatriot as a “very dangerous” player who is “very rapid” and “poses a threat in behind” in NottinghamshireLive in June 2023.
