Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in signing Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope amid question marks over Pierluigi Gollini.
The Daily Mail claim that Pope is on Tottenham’s wish list for this month’s transfer window in what would be a surprise move.
If Tottenham were to sign another goalkeeper, you would assume that deal would happen in the summer.
Hugo Lloris is out of contract at the end of the season and Pierluigi Gollini’s loan move from Atalatnta comes to an end.
TalkSPORT claim that whilst Tottenham want to keep Lloris, Gollini’s future is a little unclear.
Boss Antonio Conte is thought to be unconvinced by Gollini, and that means Tottenham could move for another goalkeeper.
Pope looks to be a prime target for Tottenham having excelled during his time with Burnley, even being branded ‘sensational’ by Jurgen Klopp.

Pope now has more than 100 Premier League appearances to his name and turns 30 in April, meaning few could blame him for wanting a big move.
Tottenham can offer that, possibly with the idea of Pope becoming the long-term successor to Lloris.
Burnley surely wouldn’t want to sell Pope any time soon, but it seems that Tottenham are keeping one eye on the England international ahead of a possible bid.
