Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in signing Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard in the summer transfer window, according to ESPN.
ESPN have reported that Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham all are options for Lingard, who can also play as a winger and is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season.
Manchester United did not allow the 29-year-old to leave in the January transfer window.
Tottenham over Newcastle for Jesse Lingard
In our view, Tottenham have the clear advantage over Newcastle for Lingard.
Tottenham could end up in the Premier League top four and get Champions League football.

Now, of course, we know that Newcastle have the richest owners in club football, but, unlike Tottenham under Conte next season, they are not going to challenge for major trophies.
West Ham, though, are a credible threat to Tottenham in their quest to sign Lingard.
The midfielder, described as “fantastic” by former Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given on Sky Sports News (9:25pm, January 31, 2022), spent the second half of last season on loan at the Hammers and did quite well, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 16 Premier League matches.
