The French winger denies claiming he would not play at Marseille under Franck Passi.
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou at Marseille
Tottenham Hotspur newbie Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has hit back at media reports in France this week, that suggested he told Marseille he would not be playing for the club under manager Franck Passi.
N’Koudou made a move from Marseille to Tottenham this summer. It was a long and protracted affair which even saw the young French midfielder reportedly holed up in a London hotel for over a month waiting for the deal to go through.

It seems L’Equipe reported this week that N’Koudou had made it clear he would not be working under the management of Passi anymore.
But the Spurs newbie, who made his debut for the North London club against Gillingham in the EFL Cup this week, has launched a defence of himself regarding the story on his Twitter account:
Le10 Sport translate his comments as the following:
“Hey you there at L’Equipe!!?? You check your articles before publishing??
“Passi is the gentleman who has supported me since my arrival at OM.
“He was the link between the players and (former Marseille manager) Michel. No way I would disrespect him.
“I never said that. In short … your bulls**t.”
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
N’Koudou is clearly making it clear he did not say such things regarding his relationship with his former boss.
Tottenham fans will certainly be happy to hear so, as they would not want him to say anything similar about their boss Mauricio Pochettino.
N’Koudou will now be hoping to make some headlines in France because of his performances at White Hart Lane.
