The American teenager could do with playing regular football.
Hull City’s Harry Maguire scores their first goal
Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing Hull City defender Harry Maguire in the summer.
The London Evening Standard is reporting that Spurs have decided that Maguire is the first-choice target for Spurs at the back, ahead of Michael Keane and Ben Gibson of Burnley and Middlesbrough respectively, with Austrian centre-back Kevin Wimmer set to leave.
If Spurs do get their man, they would be smart to let one of their current centre-backs head in the other direction.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is a very impressive talent and the American has made his first-team breakthrough this campaign.

However, if Maguire arrives, the 19-year-old will again spend most of next season with the development team and watching from afar.
Letting him experience a loan at Hull, whether they are in the Premier League or Championship, would be a perfect learning experience for the player – especially under the stewardship of the astute Marco Silva.
Carter-Vickers has a bright future at Spurs, but for now he has to wait. But regular football does seem to be the next step for the rapidly improving teenager and Hull would be a great location.
