Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both said to be interested in snapping up the Norwich City full-back.

Tottenham Hotspur could have an advantage over Arsenal in the race for Norwich City’s Max Aarons, as the Gunners only have a £45 million transfer budget next season, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail claim that both Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in snapping up Aarons from Norwich City.

However, Aarons is said to be valued at over £20 million by Norwich, which makes a deal for Tottenham look far easier than it would be far Arsenal.

With Unai Emery seemingly operating on a limited budget, investing almost half of it in an unproven right-back may well not appeal.

Arsenal already have Hector Bellerin who can play on the right-hand side of their defence, and they have other areas of their team which are surely bigger weaknesses.

Tottenham, on the other hand, do seem to need to upgrade Kieran Trippier.

And Spurs are surely ahead of Arsenal in the race to land Aarons in the summer at this moment, due to the Gunners’ limited budget.
