According to RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are exploring the possibility of signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United in the summer.

Martial is reportedly keen on a move away from United, due to a lack of game time this season.

The French forward has made just 16 Premier League starts this term, with Jose Mourinho regularly looking at other options.

And a move to Tottenham could be absolutely perfect for Martial’s development.

The 22-year-old is quite clearly one of the most exciting, young talents in England at this moment in time.

Martial has proven that he has pace, power and trickery – and he has still scored nine goals and claimed five assists in his limited amount of game time this term.

If Martial was brought to Spurs, it would be a stunning signing and Mauricio Pochettino could be the ideal manager for him.

Pochettino has a far better track record of developing youngsters than Mourinho, and Martial would surely be a starter at Spurs.

If Tottenham could develop a system which could include Martial, with Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, they would have an attack to rival any team in world football.

And if Martial does have the chance to join Tottenham in the summer, then he should jump at the opportunity, as the move could be perfect for both player and club.
