A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Telegraph have reported that Spurs have been unsuccessful over an enquiry for Everton’s Kevin Miallas.
The Belgian attacking star has been suggested as a possible target for Spurs before the end of this month.
However, the paper claims Everton have told Tottenham any current bid for the player would be rejected.
Emmanuel Adebayor has told the Guardian he feels the most important thing is that he and manager Mauricio Pochettino understand each other.
The forward has been used inconsistently by the boss throughout the season, as he’s struggled to nail down a regular first team place.
“He knows what I can achieve and what I can do as a footballer so, yeah, we have a mutual respect for each other. I think, for me, that’s the most important thing,” he said.
The Daily Express claims Pochettino will rotate his squad for the League Cup semi-final first leg against Sheffield United this week.
Spurs will head into the game as favourites and off the back of an important win in the Premier League against Sunderland.
The paper claims the boss risks annoying fans if he changes the team after such a positive performance.
