A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane picked up an injury playing for England’s under-21 side.

He was a late substitute in the second-half of the game against Wales but had to be subbed himself just six minutes after making an appearance.

The striker will have the problem assessed today but initial reports suggest it’s not a long term problem.

Former Tottenham star Gareth Bale says his decision to leave the club for Real Madrid has been justified.

Real take on city rivals Atletico this weekend in the Champions League final and Bale is expected to start for Los Blancos.

“Any player will tell you that they want to go out and win trophies and be playing in massive games in the Champions League. For me, I thought the time was right to leave Tottenham and go to Real Madrid for the exact reasons I am experiencing now,” said the Welshman.

Tottenham are one of the sides thought to be interested in signing James Milner from Manchester City.

The experienced England international has been linked with a move away from the Etihad after a frustrating season under Manuel Pellegrini.

Arsenal and Liverpool are thought to be among the other sides interested in the versatile middle man.
