A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
BBC pundit Garth Crooks has urged Tottenham to tie Harry Kane on a long term deal.
Kane has been the most consistent striker at the club so far this season, impressing on all fronts.
“I hope Spurs have him on a long contract because his stock is rising with every game,” he wrote for the BBC.
Spurs are reportedly trying to arrange a loan move away from the club for Emmanuel Adebayor.
The striker is set to return from compassionate leave, but the Mirror claims he’s not expected back in the side.
His £100,000 per week wages are thought to be a stumbling block to any permanent move away from the club.
Tottenham star Christian Eriksen says the side is looking forward to a busy Christmas schedule.
Spurs were handed the difficult game against the Serie A side in yesterday’s draw for the last 32 of the Europa League against Fiorentina.
“We are looking forward to the busy group of games that are coming now – for us Christmas will be an exciting programme,” said the Dane.
