Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish throughout the summer.

Much has been made of Tottenham Hotspur’s failure to sign Jack Grealish, but David Brooks may have been the real big miss of the summer.
At the time when Brooks came on to Spurs’ radar he was at Sheffield United, and a bid was expected to be made from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, no offer was submitted, and Bournemouth swooped to leap ahead of Spurs in the race for the youngster.
The Cherries went on to sign the Welsh international, and he already looks to have a great deal of potential.

Brooks scored a brilliant goal for Bournemouth last night against Crystal Palace, and his performances since arriving have always impressed.
Tottenham may now be looking on wishing that they had taken a punt on him.
And for all the fuss that was made over missing out on Grealish, it seems that Spurs may failed to sign an ever bigger Championship talent in the summer.
