Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City this summer.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Leicester City want £50 million – which could price Tottenham Hotspur out of any deal for the winger.
Tottenham have been credited with an interest in Mahrez for much of the summer so far.
And a move to Spurs could appeal to the Algerian, who is looking for a route out of Leicester.

Mahrez is said to be hoping for Champions League football next season.
But Leicester are determined not to let Mahrez go cheaply, and have slapped a £50 million price-tag on the 26-year-old.
That means Spurs chairman Daniel Levy faces a tough test if his side are to stand any chance of signing the trickster, who is believed to be a favourite of Mauricio Pochettino.

At £50 million, Spurs surely will not be bidding for the winger – and Levy’s famous powers of negotiation may be put to the test.
Tottenham have tended to avoid spending lavish amounts of new players, and Levy will have to reduce Leicester’s asking price significantly, otherwise the North London club are likely to be out of the running for the attacker.
