Tottenham Hotspur have sent Jack Clarke back on loan to Leeds United, and they have to do something similar with William Saliba and Saint-Etienne.

Earlier this week, Tottenham Hotspur announced the signing of Jack Clarke from Leeds United, but the Premier League club sent the 18-year-old winger back to the Whites.
Clarke, who can also operate as a forward, will spend the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Leeds in the Championship and will hope to guide them back to the Premier League.
It seems that Spurs will have to do a similar deal if they want to secure the services of William Saliba.
According to The Sun (print edition, Saturday, page 67, June 29, 2019), Tottenham are ready to make a bid of £30 million for Saliba and sign him before Arsenal (click here to read more).
The 18-year-old is a hugely promoted defender, and the teenager made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Saint-Etienne last season, according to WhoScored.

Saint-Etienne president Roland Romeyer has suggested that he will sell Saliba this summer, but he has made it clear that any deal will depend on the youngster staying at the French club on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
Metro quotes Romeyer as saying about Saliba: “He will stay at the club this season. It is an imperative condition should we come to an agreement for his transfer. It’s also William’s wish.”
