Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Mateo Kovacic of Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Mateo Kovacic is one of the best young players in the world, and there is no surprise that Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Real Madrid midfielder.
According to AS, Tottenham are interested in signing Kovacic from Madrid in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).

A versatile footballer who can operate as a central midfielder, deep-lying playmaker, attacking midfielder or out wide, the 23-year-old would be a good addition to the current Tottenham team.
However, it seems that Spurs would have to cough up quite a bit of cash if they want to sign the former Inter Milan star this summer.

According to Don Balon, Inter have made an initial offer of €30 million (£26.29m), but Madrid president Florentino Perez believes that he can get much more than that.
The Croatia international is a very good midfielder who has a bright future ahead of him, and if Tottenham are keen on adding him to the team for next season, then they should not hesitate to splash the cash.
