Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been linked with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic only last weekend, but a week later, it seems that Manchester United have secured the services of the 23-year-old.
On April 28, 2018, The Mirror reported that Tottenham are ready to spend more than £100 million in order to sign midfielder Milinkovic-Savic and striker Ciro Immobile from Italian club Lazio in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur miss out
However, a report in The Sun this morning claims that United have struck a deal to sign Milinkovic-Savic this summer.
The British tabloid has claimed that the Red Devils have agreed a £80 million deal for the 23-year-old Serbia international midfielder.

Manchester United’s gain
It is hard to see Tottenham pay £80m or more for a player, and it seems that the North London outfit have missed out on the former Genk star.
Milinkovic-Savic has made 30 starts and two substitute appearances for Lazio this season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The Serbia international midfielder has all the necessary qualities to be a success at United.
