Tottenham Hotspur want Maxwel Cornet
The Mirror report that Conte is interested in signing Burnley ace Cornet for Tottenham.
It’s suggested that Conte is keen to bring in a new left wing back and Cornet is one option on his radar.
You may know Cornet as more of an attacking player from his time at Burnley as he sometimes even played as a striker.
Yet back at former club Lyon, Cornet played as a left back and left midfielder and Conte may now look to play him as a wing back.
Cornet, 25, racked up nine goals in 26 Premier League games and scored on the final day of the season – but couldn’t keep Burnley in the Premier League.
Now relegated, it’s claimed that Cornet has a £15million release clause in his Burnley contract.

That’s a reasonable price for Tottenham to pay and Cornet would be seen as competition for Ryan Sessegnon.
Sergio Reguilon looks set to leave this summer, opening up room for Cornet to come in and his versatility would be hugely appealing.
Cornet can play as a left back, a wing back, a winger and even a striker, meaning he can cover numerous positions whilst Tottenham face a busy schedule.
It’s also worth noting that Mauricio Pochettino wanted to sign Cornet from Lyon in 2017, but he could finally make the move nearly five years on.
Cornet also left Pep Guardiola ‘very impressed’ having scored three times against Manchester City in one Champions League campaign.
The Ivorian surely won’t be playing in the Championship next season and Tottenham could now rescue him with a £15million swoop.
