Sunday afternoon sees arguably the Premier League game of the weekend as Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have once again started the season strongly, picking up 14 points from their first six games.

They have not been as good as City, though, with the Citizens flying under Pep Guardiola with a 100% record seeing them sit top of the table.

Both sides boast an array of talent but it will likely be the attacking midfielders in the game that decide which team picks up all three points.

With Kevin De Bruyne out, the pressure will be on David Silva to produce while Spurs will be hoping Christian Eriksen can perform.

But which player has been the better so far this season? We decided to take a look at the stats.

Manchester City's David Silva

As it turns out it was Silva, who came out on top in five of the eight areas we looked at.

So far this season he has managed more accurate passes per game, more successful final third passes and a better passing accuracy.

Interestingly, though, the pair are level when it comes to key passes per game with tallies of 2.6 apiece.

The Spaniard has, however, managed more successful dribbles per game and lost possession on fewer occasions per game.

It was not all bad news for Eriksen mind you, as he has managed to register more assists so far, while they are level on goals, having both failed to open their accounts thus far.
