Tottenham Hotspur have initiated contact over a potential triple raid on River Plate for youngsters Claudio Echeverri, Agustin Ruberto and Ian Subiabre.
River Plate trio Claudio Echeverri, Agustin Ruberto and Ian Subiabre are attracting major interest from Premier League clubs.
That is according to 90Min, who claim that all three Argentinians are wanted by the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Under-17 World Cup came to an end over the weekend with Germany running out winners in Indonesia.
Argentina only came fourth but three of their key players are now attracting major interest.
Tottenham Hotspur want Claudio Echeverri, Agustin Ruberto and Ian Subiabre
90Min claim that River Plate trio Claudio Echeverri, Agustin Ruberto and Ian Subiabre are all wanted.
Chelsea and Manchester City are understood to be interested and are ‘working hard’ to sign all three players.
City are allegedly confident of signing the trio having established strong relations with River Plate from their deal for Julian Alvarez.
It’s added that Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have all ‘engaged in talks’ to sign the trio, with Barcelona and Real Madrid taking similar steps.
Add in interest from Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan and the race is already pretty crowded.
Spurs pounced for an Argentinian talent in August by signing striker Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central and may now hope to add Echeverri, Ruberto and Subiabre.

Who are Echeverri, Ruberto and Subiabre?
Echeverri plays as an attacking midfielder and has already earned comparisons to Lionel Messi, which is enormous pressure.
The teenager bagged five goals and two assists at the Under-17 World Cup, securing the Bronze Boot.
Teammate Ruberto was the star of the show in the Under-17 World Cup though, winning the Golden Boot with eight goals and one assist.
The 17-year-old is a centre forward and turns 18 in January, meaning he can make a Premier League move next month.
Subiabre predominantly plays as a right winger but is still only 16, meaning he will have to wait until 2025 to move to England.
A left-footed winger who can also play for Chile, Subiabre only scored once at the Under-17 World Cup but appears to have done enough to impress scouts.
