Tottenham Hotspur losing Reo Griffiths this summer could be a massive blow for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The Daily Mirror report that Griffiths’ future at Spurs is in doubt, as he has still not penned a new deal.

Red Bull Leipzig are attempting to sign the youngster, and if Spurs were to see him depart already, it would be a huge disappointment.

Griffiths has been a sensation in Tottenham’s youth team this term, and he has hit the back of the net 27 times in just 20 appearances.

And it would be a bitter pill to swallow if Spurs were to lose him, just as he appears on the verge of making a first-team breakthrough.

Tottenham are starting to struggle to keep hold of some of their key senior players, with Kyle Walker leaving last season and doubts over Danny Rose’s, Mousa Dembele’s and Toby Alderweireld’s futures emerging.

But they have always been able to keep hold of their brightest prospects and develop them previously.

And if Spurs were to start losing their best youngsters, as well as vital first team players in the summer, then concerns would have to be raised.
