Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen has hit a wall on loan at Fenerbahce after a bright start.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen had not planned to leave the club in the summer, before being pushed out by the arrival of Fernando Llorente.
He was loaned to Turkish side Fenerbahce but has found it tough going in recent weeks.
Janssen scored two goals in his first three games… and then, nothing since.

His last goal came back on September 23, and he has gone five straight matches without scoring.
Janssen’s tally of two goals in eight matches is hardly ideal, and it appears he has hit a wall.
His efforts have been made worse by the fact former Tottenham vice-captain Emmanuel Adebayor is outscoring him.
Adebayor is playing in the Turkish Super Lig for Istanbul Basaksehir, who finished second last season.

The Togolese international has doubled Janssen’s production, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Tottenham released Adebayor from his contract in 2015 after Mauricio Pochettino decided there was no place for him in his squad.
The Dutchman is outscoring former Spurs man Roberto Soldado, who is Janssen’s teammate at Fenerbahce.
The hapless Spanish striker has no goals in 10 games so far this season in all competitions.
