Tottenham Hotspur loanee Marcus Edwards is enjoying his football in Holland.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards was sent out on loan to Dutch side Excelsior to try and kickstart his career.
The early signs from Edwards’ Eredivisie adventure are promising.
Edwards provided an assist in his first start a week ago in Excelsior’s 2-2 draw with Willem II.
This weekend he was heavily involved in another entertaining game as Excelsior drew 3-3 with Heerenveen.
Edwards was at the heart of it, and was desperate to score his first goal.
The Tottenham loanee had five shots, two of which were on target.

Edwards was credited with one key pass, and he made more successful dribbles (4) than any player on the pitch.
As far as Edwards’ development is concerned, this regular game time is exactly what he needs.
A loan spell at Norwich City last season was disastrous as he failed to start a game for the Championship side.
While it is too early to make judgement whether Edwards’ efforts will help his Tottenham career, his spell in Holland appears to be moving in the right direction.
