According to BetVictor, Tottenham Hotspur have an outside chance of signing Red Bull Leipzig’s star striker Timo Werner in the summer.
Tottenham are listed as 8/1 shots to sign Werner, with only Liverpool, Bayern Munich and AC Milan ahead of them in the bookies’ pecking order.
Spurs have so far not been linked with Werner, but the odds suggest that they could be interested in the rapid forward.
Tottenham are thought to be on the look out for an attacker, as they seek cover for Harry Kane.
Vincent Janssen has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane, and Werner could be on Mauricio Pochettino’s wishlist.
Werner has had a very impressive season in the Bundesliga, and looks as if he could be the perfect addition for Spurs.
The 21-year-old’s blistering pace makes him a different option to those already in Tottenham’s squad, and he would arrive in North London on great form.
Werner has netted 14 goals in 24 matches this season, making him one of the most lethal strikers in Germany.
And if Spurs could snap Werner up in the summer, it would be a very exciting addition for Pochettino’s side to make.
