Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly willing to pay big for Suso from AC Milan now.

Spurs have stuttered over the early part of this Premier League campaign, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table.
Tottenham appear to have had a realisation that they will need to invest, if they are to protect their place in the Champions League qualification places again.

Spurs are willing to part with a sizeable fee to snap up Suso, and his arrival would be hugely exciting.
The Spaniard is one of the stand out creative players in Serie A, and he would give Pochettino one of the most dangerous attacking line-ups in England.
However, if Spurs are to bring in Suso in January, it will just make it all the more baffling why they didn’t put more effort into the signing in the summer.
Tottenham tried to buy Suso on the cheap six months ago, but were unable to do a deal.

If Spurs do go back and pay more for the attacking midfielder now, it simply looks like an admission that they made a huge error.
Spurs could have had Suso for the opening six months of the campaign had they pushed harder in the summer, and he would surely have made a difference, given Christian Eriksen’s and Dele Alli’s poor form.
And although Suso would go some way to improve Tottenham, it may be too little too late for Pochettino’s side, who are already playing catch up with the top four chasers.
