Inter Milan attacker Marcelo Brozovic’s latest Instagram post hints strongly he is keen to remain at the club next season.
Over the weekend Brozovic was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with TeamTalk reporting via Corriere dello Sport that the Premier League side are keen on the Croatian.
The story claimed that Inter are open to selling Brozovic – he appears to have other ideas.
Brozovic posed on Instagram over the weekend: “I’m back, ready to take the field! An epic season awaits us!”.
The midfielder featured for Croatia at the World Cup and has been on holiday since.
Inter have recently been trying to sign Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele, but they have had no luck so far and The Sun report the deal is off.
Brozovic’s Inter are in the Champions League for the first time in six seasons this year and that is part of why he is particularly excited about the year ahead.
A money spinning offer from Tottenham could perhaps turn his head, but they have a lot of work to do to convince him at this late stage of the transfer window.
