Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs being linked with the Hull City winger.

The Hull City manager, Nigel Adkins, expects to receive offers for Jarrod Bowen in January, after the winger was linked to several Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspur.

But Adkins has reportedly warned that Bowen will not be sold cheaply, with the Hull Daily Mail adding that the likes of Tottenham will have to pay at least £10 million to sign the 22-year-old.

Bowen scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season in Saturday’s win against Swansea City.

And in quotes published by the same newspaper on Monday, Adkins insisted: “We’re not in a situation as a club where we say ‘Oh damn, we’ve got to sell anyone for the hell of it.’ That’s not the situation – we’re making that perfectly clear.

“If anyone does want to come and get a Jarrod Bowen, you’re not going to get him on the cheap because the owner is selling the club. We’re in a position where we don’t need to.

“I’m sure we’re going to get bids. We’re going to talk about Jarrod Bowen every window that he’s at this football club.

“We want him to do well because he’s contributing to the team. He’s grafting, he’s working hard, he’s looking to learn all the time.”

As well as Tottenham, Cardiff City, Burnley and Fulham have all been credited with interest in Bowen, who moved to Hull from Hereford United in 2014.

The former Cardiff trialist is in the final 18 months of his contract at Hull, who have an option to extend it by a further year should they wish to do so.
