Ajax winger signs new deal.

Ajax have tied down David Neres to a contract extension which will run up until 2022, Voetball Zone report.
The Brazilian winger has been superb for the Dutch side since signing in early 2017 and enjoyed a prolific first full season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.
Neres’ form saw him linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur last season, with Calciomercato reporting they were keen on the winger along with AC Milan.
Neres was most strongly linked in the summer with Roma, who managed to sign teammate Justin Kluivert.
He has begun this season moderately, scoring one goal and providing one assist so far.

At just 21 he is a player with huge potential who still stands a strong chance of leaving Ajax before his contract is up in 2022.
Tottenham solved their shortage of wingers by signing Lucas Moura in January but could still look to add another if they choose to move injury prone Erik Lamela on next summer.
Neres would be a smart target, but it has just become a bit more difficult to tempt him away, with Ajax strengthening their negotiating position.
