With serious hard work ongoing from all concerned, Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium is on course to officially open next month.

The first game is pencilled in for Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.

Tottenham legend Cliff Jones was privileged to get a behind the scenes look at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend and he was thrilled with what he saw.

The double winner used Twitter to congratulate all concerned with the project and give a big thumbs up, calling the stadium ‘breathtaking’.

Tottenham have a team capable of matching the ‘breaktaking’ stadium, led by star striker Harry Kane and World Cup winning captain Hugo Lloris.

Amid all the furore over a bungled transfer window thus far which has seen Tottenham add no players at all, there is a lot to be positive about and the club’s new stadium will put a big smile on supporters’ faces, even if their patience is being tested with a lack of new signings.

Tottenham’s season opener is away at Newcastle next weekend.
