Tottenham Hotspur fans are today left wondering just how Kevin Mier is after he was at the centre of an internal row at Spurs.
The Daily Mail report that Tottenham scout Jeff Vetere has left the club due to him revealing an interest in Mier.
Vetere spoke to Win Sports TV in Colombia last month and confirmed that Atletico National goalkeeper Mier was on his wish list.
It’s stated that Vetere resigned but has already been told to leave the club as Tottenham officials were left stunned with his ‘unprofessional’ behaviour.
Tottenham were far from happy with Vetere discussing inner workings at Spurs and he has already gone despite only arriving in September.
It’s never a dull day at Tottenham and Vetere’s acrimonious exit only proves that.
Yet when it comes to Mier, few will really know too much about him – and he may be baffled himself having been at the centre of this storm.

Who is Tottenham target Kevin Mier?
Mier was born in Barrancabermeja and joined the Atletico Nacional ranks at a young age.
The goalkeeper had been spotted playing for Oro Negro in Barrancabermeja and impressed enough to feature for Colombia at the 2015 South American Under-15 Championship.
Mier has been progressing through the Colombia y youth ranks ever since, turning out regularly for the Under-17’s and Under-20’s.
The 22-year-old has now become Nacional’s first-choice goalkeeper and has racked up 62 first-team appearances.
Mier has kept 22 clean sheets in that time and is being backed to become a Colombia senior international one day.
There have even been comparisons to former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, who has played over 100 times for Colombia.
Mier has been praised for his ‘incredible’ ability to make saves and Tottenham appear to fancy signing him.
Tottenham need to find a successor for Hugo Lloris and whilst Vetere’s exit muddies the waters a little, Mier could be the man Spurs want.
