The Dane has been an enormous presence for Lecce, the heartbeat of their midfield, and Bentancur’s major injury may tempt Tottenham into a bid.

Hjulmand’s performances are attracting numerous suitors though and Tottenham really aren’t alone in this race.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Jose Mourinho is telling Roma to go and make their move for Hjulmand at the end of the season.
Mourinho has seemingly been as impressed by Hjulmand as Tottenham and Paratici have been.
Mourinho snapped up a tireless Danish midfielder at Tottenham with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg becoming a key addition.
The Roma boss may now want to repeat the trick by signing Hjulmand to support the likes of Nemanja Matic and Bryan Cristante.
This could be a tricky call for Hjulmand, who allegedly has an Arsenal tattoo and would have to put his love for the Gunners to one side by joining Spurs.
Roma would offer the chance to stay in Italy and continue developing in Serie A before potentially moving on down the line.
The 23-year-old will have plenty of offers this summer and he may well find Mourinho and Tottenham fighting it out for his signature.
