Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele on January transfer deadline day, according to The Sun.

The Sun are reporting this morning that Tottenham are interested in signing Dembele from Barcelona today and could launch a bid.

The former Borussia Dortmund star is out of contract at Barcelona at the end of the season.

Would Ousmane Dembele make Tottenham better?

In our view, Dembele would make Tottenham a better and more potent team in attack.

Yes, we know that the 24-year-old has had injury problems during his time at Barcelona, but when fit and available, he is a force to be reckoned with.

After all, Barcelona would not have paid almost £100 million as initial transfer fee to sign Dembele from Dortmund in the first place.

Now, of course, Dembele earns a lot at Barcelona, but given that he is out of contract in a few months’ time, it is unlikely that the La Liga will ask for a lot in transfer fee.

Let us not forget that Dembele is still only 24, which means that he can grow and develop even more.

And we have see with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Moses how much players can improve under current Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte.
