Tottenham Hotspur want Harvey Barnes and are expected to have the winger on their summer wish list alongside Leicester City teammate James Maddison.
That’s according to transfer insider Dean Jones, who has been speaking to Give Me Sport about Tottenham’s transfer plans.
Jones claims that Barnes and Maddison will ‘definitely’ be on Tottenham’s list for the summer window.
Both players have allegedly been on Tottenham’s radar for ‘a long time’ now and Spurs could move for the duo this summer.
Leicester are having a nice upturn in form though and are now eyeing a top-half finish after a dreadful start to the season.
The Foxes will hope to keep hold of both Barnes and Maddison by stringing together some positive results to end this campaign.
Maybe the duo can be convinced to stay if they see Leicester making progress again but Tottenham may be a rather appealing destination.

Tottenham need players like Harvey Barnes and James Maddison
It’s interesting that rumours linking Barnes and Maddison with Tottenham are ramping up after the pair played against Spurs last weekend.
Both Barnes and Maddison scored for Leicester as they ran riot in a 4-1 win over Tottenham at the King Power Stadium.
Tottenham could now move for both players this summer and they’re the kind of talents needed at Spurs.
Tottenham lack creativity from midfield and adding a player Maddison could provide a little more guile in the final third.
Maybe there wouldn’t be a defined role for Maddison in a 3-4-2-1 under Antonio Conte, but Tottenham need more creativity from somewhere and Maddison has proven that side of his game for many years.
As for Barnes, he has continued to shine in the Premier League and is a constant threat down the left flank for Leicester.
Son Heung-min has taken a major step back this season and Tottenham need to think about serious competition moving forward.
Arnaut Danjuma could be that player if his loan move from Villarreal becomes permanent, but Barnes is another target on the Tottenham radar.
Both are good ages for Tottenham – Barnes is 25 and Maddison is 26 – providing immediate quality as well as some potential to develop in the coming years.
They won’t come cheap but Barnes and Maddison certainly make sense for Tottenham this summer, especially as homegrown English players.
