Tottenham take on Borussia Dortmund at Wembley this evening.
Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is hoping Wembley will be a positive for the club this week against Borussia Dortmund.
Spurs have been left stuck in limbo at the stadium while work on their new ground is completed.
Tottenham have a good record this season but playing at Wembley has been a bit of a grind for players and supporters, who don’t view it as ‘home’.
Spurs stopper Lloris is the latest to convey his feelings on playing in their temporary home, which is not often full.
He hopes it will be packed this week, and turn into a positive.
Speaking to Ham and High, Lloris said: “We need to obviously improve the team performance and we need the stadium full and ready to push and to help us.
“In some days it’s difficult to deal with Wembley, but hopefully for this big game we’ll receive this help from the crowd.”
There is a chance Tottenham will remain at Wembley until the rest of the season.
Tottenham won two of their Champions League matches at the ground this season, beating PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan, only losing to Barcelona.
They beat Dortmund at Wembley last season, along with Real Madrid, before losing to Juventus.
