Gary Neville has praised Tottenham’s attack whilst suggesting that Manchester United would happily take Dejan Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.

Tottenham faced Liverpool on Sunday afternoon with Antonio Conte hoping to frustrate the Reds.

Sadly for Spurs, Mohamed Salah pounced twice in the first half to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead and it proved too much for Tottenham to overcome.

Harry Kane did pull one back but it just wasn’t enough with Tottenham falling to a 2-1 home defeat.

Gary Neville has praised Tottenham’s attack

We have seen Ivan Perisic as a wing back this season but he had to play as a supporting attacker alongside Harry Kane.

That’s because Tottenham’s attacking ranks have been decimated by injury of late.

Richarlison is still out with a calf problem whilst Son Heung-min suffered a fractured eye socket against Marseille in midweek.

Lucas Moura is only just back from injury and is being managed carefully whilst Dejan Kulusevski made his first return to the Tottenham bench on Sunday after more than a month out injured.

All of that has ripped apart Tottenham’s attack, which looked very deep in the middle of September.

Richarlison and Kulusevski were splitting time in the Tottenham front line with Kane and Son offering game-breaking quality too.

That’s an embarrassment of riches and Gary Neville suggests that Manchester United will be pretty envious.

Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, Neville has suggested that United have the weakest front three of the so-called ‘big six’.

It may often be Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Antony in the final third but United do also have Antony Martial, Anthony Elanga, Alejandro Garnacho and, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Name-wise there is some real clout there but performances have been a mixed bag for United.

Neville suggested that United would gladly take Kulusevski, Son and Kane as their starting attack, believing that those three are clear of whoever Erik ten Hag can put out.

“They are the weakest out of the top six,” said Neville. “You think of Kulusevski, Kane and Son… Manchester United would definitely take those three,” he added.
