Tottenham Hotspur suffered injuries to both Harry Kane and Dele Alli last night.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left slightly concerned about the pitch in their new stadium, after their victory over Manchester City last night.
Spurs’ ground has been greeted with widespread acclaim, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side have made a wonderful start to life at their new home.
However, their victory over City yesterday came at a cost, with both Harry Kane and Dele Alli picking up injuries.
Spurs striker Kane hobbled off the pitch with an ankle problem, while Alli seemed to damage his wrist falling on the surface.
And Tottenham fans are a little concerned that the pitch is causing the injury issues.
Tottenham’s win over City was made all the more impressive given that they had to deal with Kane going off.
The scores were locked at 0-0 with Kane went off, but Heung-Min Son went on to break the deadlock late on.
Spurs now have a lead to protect ahead of the second leg of the tie, which will be played at the Etihad Stadium next week.
