Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are concerned about Moussa Sissoko’s comments to Canal + last night.

Tottenham duo Sissoko and Serge Aurier were doing an interview together on French TV, when Spurs’ £30 million midfielder (BBC Sport) made some eye-catching comments.

Sissoko appeared to hint that Mauricio Pochettino could look to move on this summer, and he may also have to move on from White Hart Lane if that happened.

“At the end of the season, it could be that they have a new project, that a new coach comes, and he doesn’t count on me, he wants to sell me. In my head I have no thoughts of leaving,” Get French Football translated him as saying.

The comments are rather bizarre, but it seems likely that Sissoko was just wildly speculating about all the potential things that could happen at Tottenham this summer.

Nevertheless, Tottenham supporters had still been left a tad concerned by Sissoko’s comments.

Pochettino has previously hinted that he could leave Tottenham if they win the Champions League final, but most people around Spurs expect that he is using it as a power play with Daniel Levy.

Pochettino has not been able to make a signing and the Argentine boss has been clear over his desire to strengthen Tottenham’s squad this summer.
