Tottenham Hotspur fans are liking the look of Riyad Mahrez ahead of the January transfer window.

January is only around the corner and it seems like Tottenham Hotpsur fans have identified at least one man who chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino should be targeting.
Riyad Mahrez has looked back to his best for Leicester City in recent weeks, producing the kind of form that saw the Algerian schemer win PFA Player of the Year en route to helping the Foxes claim an astonishing Premier League title in 2016.
The Mirror claimed back in October that Tottenham and Arsenal would go head to head over signing him next month, having both been linked in the summer, and his form is likely to see Leicester face another battle to keep hold of him beyond the next window.

Mahrez has netted five goals and set up four in 18 Premier League outings, but three of those goals have come in his last eight games and it seems like the talented winger is hitting form at the right time.
He did, however, draw a blank in Saturday’s shock 3-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium, but Tottenham fans are keen on the idea of signing him nevertheless.

Spurs lost 4-1 at high-flying Manchester City on Saturday in a result that leaves them 21 points behind the Citizens, and two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
The goal for Pochettino this season is to win a trophy and secure a top-four finish, and signing a player of Mahrez’s talents would certainly enhance the probability of them achieving at least one of those things.
