Weigl is a player who has interested Tottenham in the past, and many of their supporters think he is a bargain at his current price.
Tottenham have already lost Mousa Dembele this month, after the midfielder made a switch to China.
It means that Mauricio Pochettino’s side may well make a move for a midfielder, especially with Moussa Sissoko sidelined with injury.
Tottenham are yet to make a signing in January, but they are thought to have funds available if the right player was out there.
Whether Weigl’s move to PSG is too far down the line for Spurs to hijack now remains to be seen.
But there will be some disappointment around the London club if they allow him to move to PSG without at least making an offer.
