Tottenham Hotspur supporters have urged the club to make a move for Venezuelan youngster Yeferson Soteldo this summer, after watching him in action at the under-20 World Cup yesterday.

England beat Venezuela to lift the trophy in South Korea at the weekend, but Soteldo still did enough to impress.

The 19-year-old forward was only used as a substitute by Venezuela, but he still put in a remarkable performance.

Despite only being 5ft 3inch, Soteldo stood out above the rest of his teammates and looked a major threat.

And Spurs fans now want Mauricio Pochettino to bring the youngster to North London.

Tottenham have had a keen eye on young talent over recent years, and Soteldo would fit the bill of a Pochettino signing.

Soteldo currently plays in Chile for Huachipato, and it is unknown whether a move to Spurs would appeal.

Tottenham’s Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters were both part of the England team, which beat Soteldo’s Venezuela side yesterday.
