Tottenham Hotspur are said to be considering signing Breel Embolo from Schalke.

Tottenham Hotspur fans appear to be unconvinced about the rumours linking them with Schalke forward Breel Embolo.

The Daily Mirror have suggested that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in Embolo, as he feels that striker could improve Tottenham’s attacking options.

However, Spurs fans are not convinced that Embolo is the right fit for them currently.

Embolo was once regarded as one of the brightest youngster in European football, but his career his stalled of late.

The Swiss international missed the whole of last campaign with injury, and he has only been used sparingly this time around.

Embolo is yet to score in the Bundesliga this term, but he could offer Spurs an injection of pace.

Tottenham appear to need to sign more cover for Harry Kane, with Fernando Llorente struggling to find the back of the net since moving from Swansea City, and a new striker could be high on Pochettino’s wishlist in the January transfer window.
