Two Spurs players seemed to stand out amongst some fans in the Premier League club tweet’s four-man selection.
Tottenham Hotspur have had a rollercoaster of a season so far both on and off the pitch, with numerous talking points ranging from the on-pitch displays to stadium delays, not to mention two transfer windows without a single player signed.
As things stand, Spurs are third in the Premier League table, 15 points adrift of leaders Liverpool, but they are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they will take on fellow English high-flyers Manchester City, and are scheduled to move into their new stadium in April.
On the subject of personnel, a number of Tottenham players have impressed this season, their quality keeping the squad flying high in the league and Europe despite its relatively small size.
As such, theSpurs Twitter account was eager to find out from fans which player they thought had shone this campaign, asking the question in a tweet featuring Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Son Heung-min and Jan Vertonghen:
