It’s safe to say that Tottenham Hotspur fans aren’t loving Serge Aurier at the moment
Harry Kane, as he so often does, got Spurs out of jail this afternoon by scoring an 88th-minute winner in the 1-0 victory at relegation-threatened Crystal Palace.
In doing so, Kane hit his 35th goal of the season in all competitions to equal his best-ever goal return in a single campaign for the Lilywhites.
But Tottenham could and probably should have gone ahead earlier in the game, only for Aurier, a £22 million signing from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, to miss a gilt-edged chance.
In addition to that, the right-back was also suspect in defence and was bizarrely penalised for no fewer than three foul throws.
Put that all together, and Tottenham fans are furious with the Ivorian defender.
