Tottenham Hotspur fans frustrated at manner of cup exit.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has come in for criticism from his own supporters after the club’s Carabao Cup elimination.
Spurs were beaten 3-2, blowing a two goal lead at home to London rivals West Ham.
Pochettino stated before the game that the competition was not a priority for the team, and that showed with their performance and in his team selection.

The League Cup may be the least glamorous of the four trophies on offer this season, but Spurs have not won anything since 2008, and Pochettino has never won silverware as a manager, despite the ever-growing list of plaudits he has received.
This was a competition in which Spurs could have gone far, and playing a Wembley final could have worked in their favour had they got there.
It didn’t last night, with the atmosphere flat, perhaps a result of Pochettino’s pre-match indication he would not take the competition seriously.
Spurs fans have been left disappointed with their manager, and while it is a minor setback in the grand list of accomplishments he has made since taking over, it is another chance at winning a trophy gone begging.
