Tottenham Hotspur beat Norwich City 3-0 in the Premier League this afternoon as Ryan Sessegnon turned in a strong performance as a substitute.

Tottenham were looking to build on a midweek win over Brentford and did just that with another home victory.

Lucas Moura put Tottenham ahead with a stunning long-range effort after neat interplay with Son Heung-min.

Son’s corner then allowed Davinson Sanchez to make it 2-0 before Son got himself on the scoresheet for number three.

In four Premier League games under Antonio Conte, Tottenham have dropped just two points – not a bad start at all.

Tottenham fans praise Sessegnon

Conte lost one wing back before the game as Emerson Royal was out through illness. The Italian then lost another with Sergio Reguilon going off injured against Norwich.

On came Ryan Sessegnon, who has been desperate for opportunities in the Premier League.

Under Nuno Espirito Santo, Sessegnon failed to make a single Premier League appearance.

Deployed in his preferred role of left wing back, Sessegnon showed some promise against Norwich.

Tottenham fans have praised Sessegnon, branding him ‘brilliant’ and ‘spectacular’.

Others now want him to keep his place at left wing back for Tottenham’s next game, believing he really needed this kind of display.
