Sissoko has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Newcastle United for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £30 million.
The Frenchman struggled initially at Spurs, but last season, the 29-year-old was a key figure in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The midfielder played well for Tottenham in the Premier League and in the Champions League in 2018-19, and he will be important for the North London outfit next season as well.
Tottenham will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season, and also progress far into the Champions League during the 2019-20 campaign.
